Frequently Asked Questions
Is your pool pump making a loud noise or not even turning on?
Bearings or seals are the major culprits in faulty motors. Proper maintenance, leak-free systems, and proper drainage will prolong the life of pump motors.
How does a Salt water pool system work?
Put simply a salt system uses a process that creates chlorine from salt, also known as a salt chlorinator. This process provides a more continual stream of chlorine in your pool thereby making the water feel more comfortable to swim in. A salt system does not eliminate chlorine; it just delivers it differently.
How long should you run your pool pump and filter per day?
Remember you are in Florida and we do not close pools. So, with that said you should run your pool 8-10 hours per day.
Can my child climb your fence?
The size of the holes in our mesh fabric are so small (0.25? x 0.25? inch) that fingers and toes cannot fit through. Also, neither our fence nor patented gate contains a cross bar of any kind that a child could potentially use to pull or push themselves over. Because there is no place on the fence where a child can grip or gain leverage, it is extremely unlikely that a child would be able to climb the fence. If your child likes to climb, we recommend keeping your patio furniture inside the fenced area so they do not use a chair or table to boost themselves over the fence. If you have more than one child under 5, we recommend getting a minimum of a 4 & 1/2-foot-tall fence as children will sometimes use one another as leverage to get over the fence
How do I know when I should replace my filter cartridge?
We clean the filter cartridge out once a month, but we do recommend to replace the cartridge out every 12-18 months.
If I go with your gateless unit do I need your weekly cleaning anymore?
Once we install the gochemless unit it would be up to you if you think you would need our weekly cleaning. Just because you have a 90% chemical free pool does not mean it will clean itself. So YES, you would still need our service to keep the pool clean if you not want to do it yourself.
How do I know if a company is license to clean pools?
You can call the county licensing department.
